Major Milestones

Ever since its inception, Racold India went on to change standards in the Indian water heater industry by bringing in new technology, enhancing the aesthetics, quality, durability and performance of the product. 

• The First to introduce water heaters with rustproof polypropylene body. This changed the aesthetics and durability of the water heater thereby adding to the décor of every bathroom.
• The First to introduce Stainless Steel inner container with multi function safety valve, thus making it the only water heater in the country today that can withstand very high operating pressure of over 95 psi (65 mtrs water head) without additional pressure reducing valve. This is also the major reason why Racold water heaters are the preferred choice for high-rise buildings where any ordinary water heater would fail to perform.
• The First to introduce PUF insulation for water heaters, for maximum energy savings.
• The First to introduce Energy Labelling for water heaters in India. Certified by international standards to save energy upto 40% over ISI standards.
• The First to obtain quality and performance certification as per IEC (European) Standards. In fact Racold storage water heaters are the only water heater manufactured in India that has IEC & CE approval for quality and performance.

Apart from the Electric Water Heaters, which are available from the instantaneous to a 100 Ltrs. capacity, RACOLD India has also successfully added Gas water heaters and Solar water heaters to its range of products, suitable for both commercial and domestic segments.

We also take this opportunity to mention that the Tanks for the Solar System being offered by us have the following USPs

• The outer body of the Tank is made of PU coated ABS Sheets, making it corrosion proof, lighter and excludes the possibility of any dents during installation.  This also acts as a better insulator against heat loss.
• The Tanks, which are made of 304 L Stainless Steel, are subsequently surface treated to virtually exclude the possibility of any corrosion and consequent leakage.
• Injected PUF is used for insulation, which apart from substantially reducing heat loss, makes the entire system more robust.
• We are also happy to inform you that we have started exporting the Solar Flat Plate Collectors and would shortly be doing this for entire systems
